Linda's Story

A life shaped by movement, memory and the quiet power of words.

Linda grew up in an Air Force family, moving from place to place across the United States and Europe. Each new home gave her another horizon to study, another sky to watch.

With a first-generation American father and a mother whose roots run deep, she carries a blend of stories from many lands.

But it was her Welsh grandmother who first handed her the gift of poetry—the steady reminder that small truths can fly the farthest.

As a young girl, Linda found her way to haiku, drawn to how a few simple lines could hold the shape of a moment.

Over time, her poems grew longer, stretching like wings learning their span.

She wrote tributes to the people she loves, the places that steadied her, and the gentle lessons that arrive when we pay close attention.

Her first publication came in 2009.

After forty years in the high-tech world, working alongside her husband Bill, Linda returned to a quieter rhythm.

She now splits her time between a hobby farm along the Tuolumne River in California and a log cabin on the Grand Mesa in Colorado.

Together, she and Bill raised two daughters and adore their five grandsons, each one a reminder that helping something grow is its own kind of freedom.
